Wu Shangying (b. 2001, China) is currently pursuing her BFA at LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore. She is deeply experimental and invites people to view her works from different angles. Her current projects focus on the intersections between installation, painting, and conceptual art in the generation of greater artistic possibilities. Shangying has had teaching experience at HiArt institution (2021) and The Plan of Childhood Drawing Studio (2019). She has exhibited her work at the 9th Art Exhibition "Growing up in the Sun", Hainan, China (2018). Additionally, she was a finalist for the Hainan Provincial Institution for "Ecological Civilisation" award (2016) and won second prize for Science and Technology Innovation (2015).
