Sim Meng Ying (b. 2000, Singapore) is a research-driven artist who works primarily with installation. Her current venture looks at repositioning objects as text by melding ceramics, wood, and wire into a shared visual language while borrowing cultural and architectural elements to invoke nostalgia through a commonality of experiences. She is interested in the utilization of space and its potential to afford new experiences.
