Inside, 2023
Wood
30 x 30 cm

Inside takes inspiration from observing neglected weeds growing on the roadsides, and using their shapes to create a harmonious mandala. In an imagined future, with sea levels rising, these weeds will be lost as parts of Singapore will likely be submerged. The artwork inspires us to remember our natural ecosystems, while engaging with the outside world to solve climate change.
