Nur Anisah bte Mohamad Nor Ahmad
Nur Anisah bte Mohamad Nor Ahmad (b. 2002) is a young artist born and raised in Singapore, who graduated with distinction from LASALLE College of the Arts with a Diploma in Fine Arts in 2022. She is currently continuing her artistic journey in LASALLE as a year two student in the BA (hons) Fine Art Programme. Her works have always gravitated towards a more illustrative nature, with ink and watercolour being her primary mediums, and storytelling as a driving force in her pieces. Symbolism and world-building goes hand in hand in Nur Anisah's artworks, and through her works she hopes that her fantastical spin on heavy topics would bring both comfort and enlightenment to the world.

"Fake it till you Make it"
Medium:
Yarn, string, cloth / fabric
Dimension:
Wearing the fool's collar, Fake it til you make it deals with the vulnerable and naive nature of young girls who seek to sexualise themselves in an attempt to obtain value and self worth from society's predatory gaze. They parade themselves proudly, unaware that in reality, it is inexperience they flaunt. Moss, fungi, and mushrooms grow on the collars, a beautiful display of colours and textures to mask the festering rot and decay beneath.
