Based in Singapore, John Marie Andrada (b.2001, Philippines) is currently pursuing BA(Hons) in Fine Arts at LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore. Growing up and taking root in a foreign country, she explores notions of identity, memory and time mainly through photography, ink and moving images. Keen on working with various mediums and applying different techniques, she approaches art-making with an open, critical and inquisitive mind. Her works have been featured at Earl Lu Gallery, Singapore, and FassArt Gallery, Istanbul through a collaboration with students from Sabancī University. She recently participated in the 9th Dali International Photography Exhibition (DIPE) in China and was a recepient of the Special Choice Award for the 41st Daegu International Grand Exhibition in Korea.
