Mollusca
Medium:
Paper, spray paint, aluminium wire, thread
Dimension:
Headpiece: 24x24 cm, Dress: 150x30x50 cm
This Grecian-inspired piece implements paper-cutting techniques to transform sheet materials into three-dimensional organic shapes resembling the creatures under phylum Mollusca, where soft unsegmented bodies coalesce into hard calcareous shells. The aim is to create a work that is strong and structured—like an armour, but still delicate and fine.
