Andrea is a young artist currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore. Andrea’s works are visually silent, fragile and seemingly peaceful, but many are heavily laden with her personal life experiences and how she perceives the world around her. She has a strong interest and love for printmaking and drawing with a distinct preference for fine, detailed work and an attraction to subtlety and overlooked. For Andrea, her works are a form of personal and emotional expression, and her process is both meditative and reflective. It is through her works that she hopes to raise awareness for varying issues, to spark conversation and actions for change and/or preservation. For Sorry’s Sake No More revolves around the artist's history of constantly apologising for doing anything at all. It is also a nod towards her previous work about self-reflection and healing. The title is symbolic of how she has learned and changed over the years, no longer subjecting herself to a constant state of apology simply for the sake of it.
